This Wild at Heart Retreat will take place at Wild Ridge Young Life camp in New River Gorge National Park, July 17th - July 20th, 2025. The newly constructed lodge is located 25mins west of Summersville, WV, and sits on top of cliffs that overlook the Gauley River. The weekend will begin with dinner at 6 p.m. on Thursday evening and end around 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. The $349 cost of the weekend includes lodging and food; however, you also have the opportunity to join a 1/2 day whitewater rafting adventure on the New River. This part of the retreat is optional, costs an additional $125, and must be registered for separately (details will be provided after registering for the retreat). Additionally, for those interested, there is an opportunity to shoot firearms; however, this is an additional $40. There is no pressure to participate in either of these; there is certainly plenty of adventure (hiking, swimming, etc...) in the surrounding area that don't involve rafting or shooting. 

During this Wild at Heart Bootcamp in Your World, John Eldredge, author of "Wild at Heart," will help us explore key questions about who we are as men, who God intends us to be, and the spiritual battles that surround us. This is not a retreat where guys break into small groups and share their feelings, but we will have extended time alone with Jesus in a place free of distraction–one that is bursting with the beauty and wonder of his creation.
